Kinja'd!!!

Returned from Frankfurt this afternoon. Had a great view of the airport on the way in. 10.5 HR flight, watched Mockingjay Pt 2 (meh), Creed (surprisingly good) and Star Wars. Slept for a couple of hours as well so I almost feel human today. Anyway, I didn’t get to do much sight seeing this trip, but I did have plenty of beer. Pics follow.

Did you do any work while you were there? ;)

Quality post. Beer and flying, two of my passions.

For a work trip it wasn't bad. I also got a peak at some cool engine tech.

Plenty. Visited three vendors in 3 days and drove over 1000 KM in our rented van. Hit 100 MPH on the Autobahn a number of times.

What sort of stuff were they vending, if you are allowed to say? Just curious. My wife and I went to Germany about 15 years ago, and we had a rented Ford Focus 5 speed. I cranked it up to 100 once, but the Focus was just too skittish at that speed so I backed down. Every time one of those giant German autobahn blasters flew past me I thought it was going to suck our Ford off the road.

I would like a peek at some cool engine tech. Also, might be driving through Atlanta in a couple weeks might like to check out the museum.

Feel free to drop me a note if you want to see TechOps as well. We have cool toys. The museum is good to.

Engine parts repair. We send parts all over the world, even with the internal capabilities we have. Not really spilling company secrets here...

10 hour flights suck.

Having a lie flat seat helps.

I flew from Atlanta to Spain last summer and that sucked. My seat didn’t recline at all. And I had to go on a tour the next day. So 1 hour of sleep was awesome.
